(Italian, active 1870-1900) Ongania was an editor and publisher. In the 1890’s , Ongania issued a two volume work entitled “Calli e Canali in Venezia” (Streets and Canals in Venice) with one hundred extremely fine photogravure images that illustrate the city as well as the life and work of its inhabitants.Image area approx: 9.5 x 13", P.O.R.
