(American 1867-1935) At the age of sixteen, Watson-Schutze
was enrolled in the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia, where she studied under Thomas Eakins. A founding member of the Photo-Secession she contributed both images and articles to Stieglitz’s Camera Work.
